Warangal Chamber Launches Road Safety Awareness Campaign

As part of National Road Safety Month – January 2026, the Warangal Chamber of Commerce and Industry has taken up a road safety awareness drive as a social responsibility initiative.

Following the directions of the District Collector, Road Transport Officers and other government officials, the Chamber is encouraging commuters, city residents, auto drivers and motorists to strictly follow traffic rules. The focus of the campaign is on avoiding overloading of vehicles, driving safely, and protecting the lives of pedestrians and fellow road users.

Chamber President Bommineni Ravinder Reddy on Sunday visited several busy public places across Warangal to spread awareness. These included Mulugu Road, Bhadrakali Arch, MGM Circle, Pocham Maidan, Kasibugga Circle, Venkatrama Circle, Breakfast Hotel area, Labour Colony 100 Feet Road, Cauvery Way Bridge, Warangal Chowrasta, Post Office area, Under Bridge, Railway Station, Balaji Nagar Circle, Elephant Market Gate, Enumamula Police Station Gate and Enumamula Market.

During the visits, he interacted with the public and explained the importance of road safety. He appealed to all sections of society, including traders, farmers, workers and daily commuters, to cooperate by following traffic rules and driving responsibly.

The Chamber stated that such awareness programmes are aimed at reducing road accidents and ensuring safer roads for everyone in the city.
