Warangal Congress, BRS Workers Fight at Oath Event

Congress and BRS Workers Clash During Sarpanch Oath Ceremony in Warangal

Warangal: Tension broke out at the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected sarpanch and ward members in Chennaraopet mandal on Monday when Congress and BRS workers clashed over party songs being played at the venue.

The sarpanch seat was won by BRS supporter Kandi Shweta in the recent elections. Trouble began soon after the sarpanch took her oath, while ward members were taking theirs. BRS songs were played on the sound system, which led to objections from some Congress workers who asked to lower the volume.

This disagreement quickly turned into a heated argument, and soon both sides began throwing plastic chairs at each other. The situation caused panic and mild tension in the area.
